My wife and I are excited to announce a comprehensive 4-Phase Training on “How to Open an Apostolic Christian Academy.” This initiative is designed to equip pastors and educators with the spiritual foundation, practical knowledge, and strategic tools needed to establish Christ-centered schools within our communities and Apostolic Churches. Opening a Christian Academy is easier than you may think.
Each Phase will dive deep into biblical education principles, legal and financial structures, curriculum development, and the operational framework necessary to build and sustain an academy that upholds Apostolic doctrine and Kingdom values.
Now is the time to invest in the next generation by ensuring they receive an education rooted in truth, holiness, and the Word of God. Join us in this mission to raise up disciples and transform lives through Christian Education!

Mi esposa y yo estamos emocionados de anunciar una capacitación integral de 4 fases sobre “Cómo Abrir una Academia Cristiana Apostólica.” Esta iniciativa está diseñada para equipar a pastores y educadores con la base espiritual, el conocimiento práctico y las herramientas estratégicas necesarias para establecer escuelas centradas en Cristo dentro de nuestras comunidades e Iglesias Apostólicas. Abrir una Academia Cristiana es más fácil de lo que piensas.
En cada fase, nos profundizaremos en los principios de la educación bíblica, las estructuras legales y financieras, el desarrollo curricular y el marco operativo necesario para edificar y sostener una academia que preserve la doctrina apostólica y los valores del Reino.
Ahora es el momento de invertir en la próxima generación, asegurándonos de que reciban una educación fundamentada en la verdad, la santidad y la Palabra de Dios. Únete a esta misión de formar discípulos y transformar vidas a través de la Educación Cristiana.

Mission Statement:
The mission is to help open and establish Christian Schools throughout the Apostolic Assembly through resources, guidance and support.
Vision/Purpose:
The vision is to help pastors establish Christians Schools in their local churches that will in turn develop strong families, churches and communities through Christian teachings, values and education.
Brief biography of the coordinator:
Pastor Omar Cortez is currently the Senior Pastor at My Father’s House in Escondido, Ca.
He has served in several leadership positions starting at the local level unto the international leader of the youth department at the Apostolic Assembly of the Faith of Christ Jesus. Pastor Cortez graduated from Sam Houston High School and received his Associates at Palomar College where he finished his Bachelor’s degree in Theology at Latin American Theological Seminary. He began working at his local Christians Academy, Kings Academy, in 1994 as a volunteer then as full-time staff in 2002. Later, he became the administrator in 2003. He dedicated himself fulltime to the ministry and in 2014, he took his first pastorship in Houston Texas where they opened True Vine Christian Academy. In 2020, he returned to Escondido to pastor the Church. His 4 children have gone through the Christian education program and his two oldest children have graduated and are pursuing their College Education. Pastor Omar Cortez is currently the Senior Pastor at My Father’s House in Escondido, CA.
Sister Damaris Cortez is currently the Administrator at Kings Academy in Escondido, Ca. A Christian Private School affiliated with her local church, My Father’s House. She graduated from Calvary Christian Academy in San Marcos, Ca. She proceeded to attend Cal State San Marcos where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies. She attended CSUSM School of Education, and graduated with a Multi Subject Credential. She taught in the Escondido Union School District for 5 years. When her first daughter, Hannah, was ready for Pre-K, she wanted her to have a Christian Education. So, with much prayer, she decided to begin teaching at their Christian School, Kings Academy. She has since been a strong believer and advocate for Christian Education. She helped her husband open a Christian School, True Vine Christian Academy, in Houston, Texas. She has 2 children that have graduated from Christian School, and two more still attending.
