Mission Statement:
The mission is to help open and establish Christian Schools throughout the Apostolic Assembly through resources, guidance and support.

Vision/Purpose:
The vision is to help pastors establish Christians Schools in their local churches that will in turn develop strong families, churches and communities through Christian teachings, values and education.

Brief biography of the coordinator:
Pastor Omar Cortez is currently the Senior Pastor at My Father’s House in Escondido, Ca.
He has served in several leadership positions starting at the local level unto the international leader of the youth department at the Apostolic Assembly of the Faith of Christ Jesus. Pastor Cortez graduated from Sam Houston High School and received his Associates at Palomar College where he finished his Bachelor’s degree in Theology at Latin American Theological Seminary. He began working at his local Christians Academy, Kings Academy, in 1994 as a volunteer then as full-time staff in 2002. Later, he became the administrator in 2003. He dedicated himself fulltime to the ministry and in 2014, he took his first pastorship in Houston Texas where they opened True Vine Christian Academy. In 2020, he returned to Escondido to pastor the Church. His 4 children have gone through the Christian education program and his two oldest children have graduated and are pursuing their College Education. Pastor Omar Cortez is currently the Senior Pastor at My Father’s House in Escondido, CA.

Sister Damaris Cortez is currently the Administrator at Kings Academy in Escondido, Ca. A Christian Private School affiliated with her local church, My Father’s House. She graduated from Calvary Christian Academy in San Marcos, Ca. She proceeded to attend Cal State San Marcos where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies. She attended CSUSM School of Education, and graduated with a Multi Subject Credential. She taught in the Escondido Union School District for 5 years. When her first daughter, Hannah, was ready for Pre-K, she wanted her to have a Christian Education. So, with much prayer, she decided to begin teaching at their Christian School, Kings Academy. She has since been a strong believer and advocate for Christian Education. She helped her husband open a Christian School, True Vine Christian Academy, in Houston, Texas.  She has 2 children that have graduated from Christian School, and two more still attending.
